As many of you know, our love for dogs doesn’t just stop at Labradors, you’ve probably seen our frenchies playing with Labrador puppies on our Facebook page, or “helping” with puppy pictures in some of our Labrador litter’s google photo albums.
About Us
Hi, we are Jacob and Maile Soloski, we are taking Kentfield Kennels to the second generation. We live on a beautiful ranch in Oklahoma, where Kentfield Kennels second kennel is located. A few years ago, we purchased our first French bulldog, Bing Bong, to be a “truck dog” as we were frequently driving Labrador puppies from our Oklahoma kennel to our Sebastopol, Ca kennel. We quickly fell in love with the breed and their easy going personalities. We are happy to announce that Kentfield Kennels will have a couple exclusive frenchie litters a year, along side our Labradors.
Our Standard
We strive to breed into our frenchies the same excellent, reliable temperament that is sociable, friendly, loyal and above all else, great with children and other pets, just as our labradors are. Our Frenchies are currently DNA tested by Embark, one of the only genetic testing company's that test our dogs for over 170 genetic defects that can be inherited. Click HERE to see all named genetic test from Embark that are done on our Frenchies! All of our puppies will be registered with the American Kennel Club, micro-chipped and enrolled in the AKC ReUnite program before they go into a new family home.
About the Breed
“The one-of-a-kind French Bulldog, with his large bat ears and even disposition, is as of 2022 the world's most popular dog breed. The Frenchie is playful, alert, adaptable, and completely irresistible. The French Bulldog resembles a Bulldog in miniature, except for the large, erect 'bat ears that are the breed's trademark feature. The head is large and square, with heavy wrinkles rolled above the extremely short nose. The body beneath the smooth, brilliant coat is compact and muscular. The bright, affectionate Frenchie is a charmer. Dogs of few words, Frenchies don't bark much, but their alertness makes them excellent watchdogs. They happily adapt to life with singles, couples, or families, and do not require a lot of outdoor exercise. They get on well with other animals and enjoy making new friends of the human variety. It is no wonder that families of all kinds swear by this vastly amusing and companionable breed.” -https://www.akc.org/dog-breeds/french-bulldog/
